I am a transplant from Iowa. Although now retired, I worked in environmental programs as a civil engineer. Wow. The Sonoran desert is just gorgeous and the desert life is so remarkable in the manner it has adapted to the heat. I have been a TCSS member for several years and I am so impressed by all the opportunities the organization offers.
